Our favorite four letter F word… FALL!

With the weather being cooler we can all start getting excited about fall. There are so many reasons to love fall- those delicious flavors, decorations, scents, leaves changing colors, and sweater weather!

We want to give you a few ideas about what and how you can keep your little man/lady busy in this cool weather…

  1. Go for a walk- we encourage you to decorate a basket or paper bag with their name/stickers etc and collect as many items as you can! With this activity you can turn it into a wax paper collage, a wreath or even a sensory bin.
  2. Visit a pumpkin patch or a corn maze- children love exploring and this is a great festive way to do so.
  3. Children also love anything that incorporates birds, or animals. Try making a pinecone bird feeder- roll it into nut butter and seeds!
  4.  Get creative in the kitchen- collect apples and make apple sauce! The children love this activity and eating it as well.
  5.  Sing fall songs such as- five little leaves next door, leaves are falling and apples, apples.
  6.  Take pictures! Fall is so beautiful and goes so quickly that it’s always nice to snap a few photos…
