I am pleased to join the Tiny Hoppers Family as the Director of our Park Lawn location.
I have enjoyed working with children since as early as I can remember. I attended a summer camp from the ages of 7 to 18 and later became a Camp Counsellor at this camp. This was a very reward experience for me, and has paved the way for my future experiences with children and the development of my career.
I graduated from Humber College with honours in 2013 and have many years of experience working with children ranging in ages from two to twelve years old from different backgrounds, home environments, afterschool programs, childcare programs, summer camps and as a volunteer working with diagnostic kindergarten children in the TDSB. I have been an Assistant Supervisor, Supervisor and Program Director. I am very excited to bring my new journey here at Tiny Hoppers.
My experiences have helped develop my personal philosophy: “Children learn best through shared experiences of empathy and they should be taught in a nurturing, secure environment through age appropriate, hands-on, play-based learning.” My development of curriculum and co-curricular activities strongly focuses on expression of self-awareness through the Arts, and exploring age appropriate elements of Science and creativity.
It is my desire as an educator to motivate, inspire, guide and teach children based on their own uniqueness.
This is why I am very excited to be the new Director of Tiny Hoppers!
