- Please note that there is a “new” screening sheet that we sent to you via Parent Portal – please ensure you are using this one as of Monday July 5th, 2021. (it reflects new changes in travel and vaccination)
- The summer months mean holidays! May we kindly ask that you let Mrs Taina know if your child will be missing any days in July and August via an email to [email protected]
- Our staff will also be taking well deserved holidays this summer. We will inform you of when your child’s teacher will be away on holidays via parent portal. No two teachers will be away at the same time in order to ensure continuity.

MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS PREPARED TO GET WET AND THEY ARE LATHERED WITH SUNSCREEN
BEFORE COMING TO THE CENTRE
(also note the infants and toddlers are out first in the morning for yard time)
STAFF SPOTLIGHT:
Beginning each month in our newsletter, we will choose one staff member to focus on & share some insight about them so that you can know your teachers just a little bit better!
This month it is Ms. Angela B. is one of our amazing toddler teachers! It will be 9 months in July 2021 since Ms. Angela has been with us. We are so lucky to have her on our team! Her employees describe her as:
“Kind, caring, sweet, loving, gentle, friendly, fun, patient, easy going, polite, happy”.
INFANTS:
Summer is here! We will be enjoying the nice weather with summer-themed activities and pets. We will have a variety of art, sensory, gross & fine motor activities for the children to explore.
With the hot weather, we will be having lots of water play – please check your child’s bag for wet clothes and to provide more change of clothes.

TODDLERS:
June has come and gone, July here we come!! Hot weather and fun in the sun.
This month we will be learning all about body parts, dinosaurs, Disney, and sandy beaches! We will be having a lot of water play to get us through those hot summer days! We will also work on our manners and sharing with friends. We look forward to the fun this month will bring!
We will be celebrating:
- July 13th – Disney Day
- July 19th – Dinosaur Day – wear your Dino merchandise.
- July 22nd – World Hammock Day… We will chillax in our PJs!
- July 29th – International Tiger Day… Wear black and orange.
PRESCHOOL:
We can’t believe it’s July already. We will be taking advantage of the nice weather. The children will enjoy summer-themed activities and lots of water play.
We will have a Teddy Bear picnic day on the 16th, National Ice Cream Day on the 21st, and a Beach Day on the 23rd, so please make sure that your child has a towel and a change of clothes, and a pair of water shoes each day in their backpack.
