On indoor rainy days, our teachers at Tiny Hoppers Sportsworld like to get their creativity going and provide the children with sporadic activities that promote gross motor skills. To put a nice twist on simply getting their energy going, teachers covered the floors with paper and dabs of paint. They then had the children ride bikes through them to provide a fun gross motor option, mixed with messy play, art, and sensory exploration. The children absolutely loved this! As much as we love programming around children’s interests, we also like to spark new ideas and implement unplanned activities to see how the children will react! This helps us to learn more about what they enjoy and allows our wonderful educators to really hone in on their creativity. We love trying new things at Tiny Hoppers Sportsworld!
