Diversity

August 6, 2021

Our preschool children at Tiny Hoppers Sportsworld have been talking about different countries and words they use at home in other languages. Teachers noticed this interest and decided to integrate multicultural and diverse activities to further this interest and generate deeper discussions. Children were able to create people with different skin toned play dough and features. They traced their hands on different skin tone paper to post in the classroom as well. For circle time, they were identifying and talking about different flags from around the world. They even painted a colourful Taj Mahal, explored a map of the world and had discussions about it at circle, and created a colourful crayon box for name and colour recognition and promoting uniqueness! What a wonderful way to recognize and appreciate the different cultures of the world at Tiny Hoppers Sportsworld!
