Our toddlers have been so curious about jobs, money, baking and all things customer service! Our awesome educators decided to make a donut shop for the toddlers to experiment with each of those interests!
Our toddlers were able to buy and sell donuts of their own choice, taking turns being the employee and the customer. The learning was extended into a donut decorating activity! Our talented educators used socks to make the shape of a donut, and provided the children with the materials needed to create delicious looking donuts to sell.
Teaching children about jobs gives them the knowledge to speak of for themselves, communicate ideas, be respectful, get along and work well with others, and be responsible for their own actions.
