Using tuff trays and offering unlimited, out of the ordinary resources to children allows them to freely explore and investigate, allowing their imaginations to fly! Our educators use emergent curriculum in their tuff trays to provide our children with the ultimate fun learning experiences!
Our tots and tykes of all sizes and ages absolutely love these creative, fun, hands-on learning experiences. Our tiny tots love transportation and messy play lately, so our educators set up a mini town and filled it with shaving cream! Our older tykes are really into cause and effect and learning about how our world works, so our educators set up tuff trays that allow them to use different materials to see how things work! For example, they gave our children some paper alongside a tuff tray filled with oatmeal. Our tykes made funnels using the paper and poured the oatmeal through it using one of our toy baskets! The possibilities with tuff trays come with endless learning fun!
Using tuff trays also encourage group play, allowing a group of children to play with each other or alongside each other. This creates a sense of belonging and engagement as a group, which we absolutely love!
