  • Tiny Hoppers is the creation of Brigida Aversa and Theresa Bertuzzi. After seeing a void in the market for quality child care, Brigida, an experienced business professional, and Theresa, a certified, primary school teacher, with additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education, decided to establish their own early learning centre.

With humble beginnings, in 2005, Tiny Hoppers began in the Ottawa South region. Our popularity grew as parents and their young ones fell in love with Tiny Hoppers’ theme based learning and original programs. Tiny Hoppers presents an educational, interactive and fun program with carefully planned activities supported by high quality educational equipment. Through music and movement and hands on play, Tiny Hoppers has developed a program to aid in the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children. All of the educational centres are carefully planned to provide children with an exciting, hands-on learning experience that touches on activities in all areas of learning including math, science, literacy, technology and the arts. Because we provide the entire curriculum and lesson plans to the franchisees, every Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Centre throughout the city, province, or country would be operating identically. This ensures us that the quality in education is maintained, and parents could expect the same high standards and programming in every Tiny Hoppers centres no matter where they go.

Today Tiny Hoppers has a presence in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia, where we have had the privilege of enlightening thousands of children. We have also gained popularity in the international scene, where we have recently signed a location in China, and the Master franchise rights to Saudi Arabia. We are in discussion with several other countries who are interested in our early education concept. Although word traveled fast as to Tiny Hoppers success as a premier childcare centre, we decided not to expand into other markets until our business model and programming could be adapted /provided to children worldwide. We are proud to say we have reached that goal!

Despite frequent requests to open facilities across Canada and Internationally, the goal was to focus on quality and not quantity. We are now ready to take our company forward and give children across the world a chance to experience the Tiny Hoppers’ difference.   We are looking for individuals who share these same beliefs and goals to help us present the Tiny Hoppers’ programs to children across the country and the globe.
