Learning About People with Exceptionalities

January 18, 2022

In our preschool program we were given some books about people with exceptionalities and toys that include people in wheelchairs, with leg and arm braces. CISS let us borrow these toys so that we can begin to teach our children about other people with exceptionalities and what they may look like. Our children are engaging with the toys and the books and are very interested in learning! The educators have also included these topics in circle time programming.  This is a great way for the children to learn and to always be inclusive to everyone!
