This month, our Tykes program buzzed with excitement as we delved into the fascinating world of bees. Welcoming a knowledgeable beekeeper from Rosebay Bees, our young learners were treated to an engaging and informative presentation highlighting the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. From pollination to honey production, every aspect of these incredible insects was explored, leaving our little ones captivated by their importance. The culmination of the event was particularly sweet as the children savored the delicious taste of honey, a tangible reminder of the remarkable work these tiny creatures accomplish. Through hands-on learning and sensory experiences, our Tykes program instilled a newfound appreciation for the essential role bees play in our world.
