Tiny Hoppers

By following the child’s lead and their enjoyment of water play and summer, the 3-5 classes enjoyed painting ocean’s on foil and adding paper fish! What a great way to encourage the children to paint in their own process and imaginations! The freedom to add little fish to their ocean was a great way to extend this activity!!

Try painting on different mediums with your little artist! Paint on: wood, tinfoil, fabric, canvas, metal, Let your senses explore your surroundings and see what else you can find!

Painting on the tinfoil rather then paper was a great way to encourage them to use all their senses; listening to the foil crinkle as they paint it, see the paint and their reflection on the tinfoil, and  touch the tinfoil in their hands!
