Franchisee

Our journey with Tiny Hoppers started in 2021 as we secured a daycare location during COVID and was looking for a franchisor for guidance venturing into Early Childhood Education. Tiny Hopper’s bright colors and teaching philosophy appealed to us. Like any new venture, there were challenges along the way with permitting and construction. Tiny Hoppers’ proven specifications allowed us to setup our daycare facility to comply and surpass licensing and city regulations. Leveraging a franchise with 30 locations across Canada, we are able to open our facility with healthy enrollment and achieved full enrollment within a year of opening. Our most rewarding aspects was seeing the positive impact on children and their families. As our daycare grew, so did our reputation in the community. Parents appreciated our emergent curriculum and our nurturing environment, helping children develop essential social skills and a love of learning while playing.

Master Franchisee

This is the opportunity to purchase exclusive rights to an entire province of your choice as a Master Franchisee. The Master franchisee will be responsible to open the first franchise, build credibility and then sell sub franchises throughout their market. Master franchisees generate revenue through the operation of the first corporate franchise, the selling of sub franchises and collection of royalties. The growth potential is incredible.

The initial investment includes, but is not limited to, interior and playground construction, classroom and interior furniture and equipment, initial supplies, marketing, architectural and other design fees, permits and licensing, accounting and legal fees.

Master Franchise

The Master franchise fee depends upon the size of the province, specific demographics, and determining the number of Tiny Hoppers® centres that can be opened across your market in a given time period. Master franchisees must have the financial wherewithal to build out their initial location, while maintaining significant working capital to market, promote and grow Tiny Hoppers across their province.

After my son was born, I realized there were limited options for quality childcare. Wanting to move away from the corporate world, I felt inspired to open my own daycare center. After conducting some research, I discovered Tiny Hoppers, which perfectly aligned with my vision. I opened the first Tiny Hoppers location in Western Canada, specifically in Edmonton, in August 2017. Two years later, I launched a second location in the same city. Both centers have thrived and are highly recommended within their communities. I was then offered the position of District Manager for Alberta, which allows me to assist others in opening their own Tiny Hoppers while still managing my original center. I enjoy helping all the locations in Alberta with their day-to-day operations and being available for any assistance they may need.

Screening Questionnaire

Fill out and return your screening questionnaire along with a signed copy of the Confidentiality Agreement. This will help us begin to determine your aptitude for this field and your readiness in owning a Tiny Hoppers Centre.

Open Discussion

Now, with all the materials in hand, discuss your questions and concerns with us. We will begin a steady dialog while providing any and all answers you are seeking to help you feel confident in your research and your decision making process

Discovery Day

Once both parties feel comfortable and confident in this business relationship, you will join us at our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada to attend a Discovery Day. Your visit to Ottawa will be to meet key executives and staff and confirm what you have learned about our concept, operations, training and support.

Approval Process

Real-Estate and Business Plan

We’ll introduce you to our Real-Estate Representative who will help in securing a site in an area of your choosing, taking into consideration local demographics and competitive market conditions. As this becomes finalized, the Business Plan begins to take shape and you can start arranging for financing.

Feedback/Analysis from Tiny Hoppers HQ

Once the real-estate site has been confirmed and financing is in place, we forward you the Franchise Agreement and Disclosure Document to review. You and/or Tiny Hoppers will perform additional analysis to determine if this commitment is feasible for you. (i.e. financing, time requirements, other obligations)

On Your Way

Congratulations would be in order at this time! Our Support Team will create your facility’s timeline in correlation with our Franchise Checklist. Nothing is left to chance in this comprehensive manual. Your new Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Centre can be completely operational in 8–18 months.
