Before reopening, we did a bit of remodeling to make our yard and dramatic play more appealing for the children to explore in!
DIRECTOR:
Beginning each month in our newsletter, we will choose one staff member to focus on & share some insight about them so that you can know your teachers just a little bit better!
This month it is Ms. Lisa, she is one of our amazing preschool teachers. It will be 3 years in March 2020 since Ms. Lisa has been with us. We are so lucky to have her on our team! Her co-workers describe her as:
“tender hearted, loving, has a great laugh, incredibly laid back, goes with the flow, wonderful, supportive, reliable, honest, the best person to be around, caring, strong, lovable, beautiful inside and out, patient, a team player, hilariously funny, has a beautiful soul, a great friend.”
PRESCHOOL:
Children need our calm, empathetic presence more than ever. They need our love, support and smiles. They need and should have a predictable routine and be able to play with friends.
We will continue to encourage a healthy & safe environment for all.
August will bring many new stories & interactive activities. We will learn all about ocean life and all the animals that live in the deep blue sea.
August is the end of summer and it’s going to be busy.
- Aug 4 – chocolate chip cookie day
- Aug 12 – wear your favorite color
- Aug 20 – Teddy Bear picnic & PJ Day
- Aug 27 – Recycle & Reuse Day! Crafts, pop can airplanes, tin can
- Aug 28 – busy building with wood
- Sept 2 – bring your favorite book!
We will be incorporating lots of loose part into our centers and letting the children explore their creativity and imagination!

Welcome back everyone!
This month, we are going to explore a variety of science and nature activities!
We are going on a scavenger hunt! We will use magnifying glasses to explore the yard.
For art we will be stamping with natural objects and decorating a paper tree!

We are enjoying getting to know, playing and exploring with our new friends!
This month we will be exploring a variety of art & sensory activities – for our friends to explore using the sense of touch and gross motor activities – to encourage our friends to walk!
