Fun with mashed potatoes

Our Infants are exploring with a new sensory activity.  They are painting with mashed potatoes!  The children are using their fine motor skills to smush and squish the potatoes.  Its a new sensory feeling as the potatoes are cold and a little bit lumpy.  The infants have fun patting the potatoes down on the paper to make colourful art.  Teachers are able to use new words like smooth, squish, name colours and temperatures.
