Fine Motor Activity in Toddler

May 15, 2018

Our Toddler room is working on their fine motor skills.  Here a boy works on cutting, this is usually the first time a child uses scissors.  They have to learn how to hold the scissors and open and close them to make a cut in the paper.  Its also a great activity to learn about safety.  The teacher can use words like SHARP and CAREFULLY.  The children need to concentrate to make a cut in the paper, they need to watch closely and use hand-eye coordination to be successful with the cutting.
