It’s October! In October, we welcome to changing of the seasons! Our children have been vastly emerged in this beautiful time of year that shows them all of the different colored leaves, different weather systems, and of course, Halloween!
Our awesome educators gathered real leaves from our yard for a sensory tuff tray that our preschoolers had a blast exploring! They gathered fall themed loose parts for the children to explore using different utensils like tongs, and magnifying glasses. The children love art as well so our educators incorporated art with the changing of the seasons, whether it was with painting with spray bottles, tissue paper art, sensory bags and homemade wreaths, our children are always offered a plethora of materials to foster their creativity, and exploration.
Our light pads lit up our rooms with fall themed colors, and sensory experiences, reminding us of just how much we have to be thankful for here at Tiny Hoppers Kanata North!
