Learning to classify modes of transportation allows children to deepen their understanding of how transportation actually works! This type of learning also allows each child to expand their vocabulary and awaken their curiosity and motivation to deepen their knowledge of transportation in their own lives. Transportation is such an important part of everyday life, which motivates children’s natural curiosity to learn more about it. We can also teach our children all about safety with transportation, as well as colors with traffic lights!
Our little have shown great interest in transportation, from busses to airplanes, to cars and boats, the learning is endless! We love to further our learning here and decided to incorporate music! Singing a song like “The Wheels on the Bus” is a fun interactive song for children, that also teaches them all about the parts of a bus!
