We have made it to Summer time finally and we have so many fun activities for our children planned. This week, the whole center took part in painting murals as a group, outdoors! We love building a sense of community, engagement and belonging here at Kanata North. Planning group activities that allow children to be creative in a space together promotes all of these qualities, and more!
There are so many benefits to painting outdoors. There is no mess factor when it comes to painting outside, and space is less limited than indoors. This allows each child to become fully engaged in this painting activity, while also getting some fresh air! All of our children made beautiful art together and some of our teachers got extra creative and cut the murals up into smaller pieces so each child could take home a Summer memory!
