Music, movement and expression!

December 6, 2021

Here at Tiny Hoppers Kanata North we love to express ourselves as creatively as we can! Our friends love being able to freely create their own music using our drums and maracas. We love to dance while using our colorful scarves to really express our movement abilities!

Music plays a very special part in a child’s sensory development as it allows them to feel creative and show that by using their bodies to dance, jump and sway! Playing with different types of instruments helps with hand eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills and self expression skills.

Have you ever played freeze dance while also playing hopscotch? Our Toddlers love this activity, and it promotes music, gross motor and numeracy skills!
