What a great sensory activity set out by out preschool teachers! The children had so many choices throughout this activity and they can expand on the learning and the play. The children were able to use the play dough to make more apples, shapes, or pies etc. They could use the new tweezers to pick up the smaller items, to cut the play dough or pick up play dough by using their fine motor skills and pincer grasp. They were able to use the little leaf gems to make “pies” and we also borrowed the felt apples from our toddler room! 🙂
