Last week was a HOT one! Both our preschool and toddler rooms were able to get outside and do water play! The preschool friends had water balloons that one of our teachers ordered which are crochet so that they can be re-used! What a great idea! They had so much fun filling up the water balloons, playing catch, squeezing the water out or throwing them. The educators also brought out the new sprinkler and the children were taking turns sitting above it and feeling the water and running through the sprinkler!
The toddlers were able to get outside in the afternoon with their bathing suits and play in the water tables. They had water toys, cups and sponges and enjoyed squeezing the water and splashing. They also took some turns riding in the wagon and they enjoyed their afternoon snack outside like a picnic!
What a great way to end off a HOT week!
