Preschool children and toddler both decided for a Thanksgiving present to their parents, we made little picture frames using popsicle sticks and card stock. We went out and got a hay barrel, corn, pumpkins, mums and gourds and we set up a little photoshoot outside the center and each kid one by one took a turn sitting and taking a photo to go onto their picture frame.
The children were all given markers or crayons, glue and real leaves from outside and to design their picture frame any way they wanted using the materials provided. The children worked on their fine motor skills to hold the markers and colour and use the glue themselves and pick out the leaves they wanted to use. Each child went home with a little frame and all of our parents really loved the gift!
