The preschool children were given some loose parts pompoms, and the activity was to follow the outline of the letter that they chose. During this activity, the children are using their fine motor skills to pick up the pompoms and place it on the lines to outline the letter. The children are able to choose which colours they wanted to use and some even created some patterns. The children are also practicing their language skills with learning the alphabet and we can also branch off of this activity by coming up with an activity that focuses on sounds of each letter and learning new words that start with a letter they choose.
