Last week the preschoolers made cookies for the Olympics from start to finish!! This was an awesome activity planned out by the educators where the children were completely involved and made the cookies all on their own (with help of course).
The step-by-step preparation had the children engaged and so eager to help! The children are able to learn everyday skills such as pouring, stirring, rolling, decorating, spreading and of course… eating! 🙂 They are able to use all of their fine motor and gross motor skills in making these delicious cookies! At the end they were able to decorate their own cookie by spreading the icing on their own cookie and then choosing Skittles to put on top! Then they enjoyed a great treat at snack time 🙂
