Please take a look at our April newsletter: April news.pdf

This April, our program bloomed with creativity, learning, and a deepened connection to the Earth as we celebrated Earth Day across all age groups. Nature was our classroom, and sustainability was our theme as each group explored the natural world in meaningful and age-appropriate ways.

Babies: A Gentle Start to Loving the Planet
Our tiniest learners took part in a collaborative recycled mud art project. With sensory-rich experiences using mud and recycled materials, the babies got their hands dirty—literally and joyfully—while we laid the foundation for appreciation of the natural world. This hands-on activity helped them engage with textures from the earth and understand that even something as simple as mud can be a part of creative expression and care for the environment.

‍♀️ Tots: Discovering Nature’s Wonders
The toddlers became little nature detectives with a special scavenger hunt designed using both natural and recycled materials. Leaves, twigs, smooth stones, and creatively repurposed household items helped bring this adventure to life. The activity encouraged the tots to observe, touch, and explore the natural environment around them, sparking curiosity and building early awareness of the beauty and value of nature.

Tykes: Making a Promise to Mother Nature
Our older learners—the tykes—took things a step further by making a heartfelt Promise to Mother Nature. After conversations about the importance of taking care of the Earth, each child created their own promise, such as picking up litter, turning off lights, or planting seeds. These promises were shared in a special circle time and displayed proudly, serving as a beautiful reminder of the responsibility we all share.

We’re so proud of how each child participated in their own way, and we’re excited to continue building eco-awareness and appreciation for our planet all year long.

Happy Earth Month from all of us!
