As a new schoolyear begins, our Toddler Class also took some time to learn new routines. Teachers set up a “handwashing” tuff tray activity in which their teachers filled up some gloves and splattered paint to mimic “dirty hands”.

With small sponges and some water, the teachers guided the toddlers to “wash” the hands by cleaning them with the sponges. This helps them practice their fine motor skills when picking up a sponge and squeezing the water out of it.

At the same time, the teachers used this opportunity to teach about personal hygiene and how to properly wash their hands with soap.
