Winter-inspired learning is in full swing across all of our classrooms! Our educators have been creating engaging, hands-on experiences that invite children to explore, discover, and build new skills through play.
Sensory exploration has been a big focus, with inviting activities set up on the tuff trays and sensory tables. Children are investigating different textures, scooping, pouring, and experimenting while strengthening their curiosity and creativity. Art experiences reflect the season too, with children expressing themselves through winter-inspired creations.
Our little learners are also taking on exciting challenges like the snowball stacking and balance STEM activity, where they practice problem-solving, coordination, and persistence. Pretend snowshoeing has added an element of imaginative play, encouraging movement, cooperation, and lots of giggles along the way.
Fine motor skills are being strengthened through activities using tongs, helping to build hand strength and coordination that support early writing and self-help skills.
It’s been wonderful to see the children so engaged, confident, and proud as they explore, create, and learn together during this cozy time of year.
