Every year, our children make Christmas cards and Valentines for our dear friends at Operation Friendship Seniors Society. We started this initiative over 5 years ago! It’s important for us to foster empathy, kindness and community connection while reducing loneliness in older adults. Children learn social responsibility and understand the significance of acts of kindness. We love seeing the faces of our community smiling when they receive a handmade card by one of our children.
