Valentine’s Day isn’t just about hearts and kindness, it’s also the perfect time to sneak in some meaningful learning! Our preschool children explored name recognition and letter matching using a fun Valentine’s Day twist. Recognizing their own name is one of the first steps in early literacy. It helps children understand that letters have meaning and that words represent something important! Especially when that word is their own name!
