Sherrie Maclean

While using a syringe to squirt water, children demonstrated fine motor, concepts of volume and cause and effect. This hands-on exploration supports problem-solving and language use, in line with the ELECT framework.

When asked to share a few things they love, the child used language to express personal interests, demonstrated growing self-awareness, and engaged in meaningful conversation with peers, supporting communication, identity, and social connection as outlined in ELECT.

Children matched hearts to the written colour words, this developed literacy awareness, colour recognition, and problem-solving while strengthening fine-motor skills
