St. Patrick’s Day is a special day when people celebrate Irish culture and remember St. Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland. On this day, many people wear green, look for shamrocks, and enjoy fun parades. For toddlers, St. Patrick’s Day is a wonderful time to learn about colours, music, and having fun with friends.

Some activities we are doing with our toddlers include making paper shamrocks, singing Irish songs, and going on a little hunt for “leprechaun treasures” like gold-coloured coins or toys. We also read stories about St. Patrick and Ireland together.  Also, we wear green outfits on St. Patrick’s Day. These activities help toddlers learn about different cultures and enjoy the spirit of the holiday.
