The children were invited to engage in a variety of activities inspired by St .Patrick’s Day. The children used their fine motor skills to work the tweezers to pull out cold coins in leprechaun coin hunt. The children worked together to use tissue paper to fill the rainbow on the mac tac. In the tuff tray the children were provided with a field of clovers to explore. They found pots of gold , a rainbow, shamrock, and loose parts inspired by the Ireland flag. For art the children used green paper shreds to create a shamrock. These activities were all inspired by St. Patrick’s Day and opened up opportunities for the children to learn about the holiday.
