April is here, and with the rainy season upon us, the children are excited to splash in puddles and learn about the beautiful flowers beginning to bloom. Spring is a wonderful time for discovery, and we look forward to exploring nature and the changes happening all around us.
Looking back at March, we had so much fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, learning about good luck charms, and going on clover hunts! The children also explored the water cycle and participated in many hands-on activities about rain, sparking curiosity about weather and nature. With flowers starting to bloom, our students were inspired to create many beautiful flower-themed art projects, showing off their creativity and love of learning.
This month is extra special as we celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Tiny Hoppers Woodgrove! Children and staff will join in the fun on April 1st with a School Spirit Day, wearing our school colors of green and orange. We are so proud of our growing school community and grateful for all the families who make it so special.
Looking ahead, we are excited for our Great Easter Egg Hunt, complete with a small prize at the end, and our Earth Day activities, including circle time discussions about caring for our planet and recycled art projects. We will end the month with a fun Spirit Day, where children can dress up as a princess or superhero and create thank-you cards and artwork for local heroes like healthcare workers, firefighters, and police officers chosen by the children.
April promises to be a month full of creativity, learning, and celebration we can’t wait to see all the fun moments unfold!
