Tiny Hoppers
It is The Chinese New Year – the year of snake. So we decided to talk to the children about why it is not on 1 January. Also they were asking,” why is it called the snake year?” Therefore our teachers decided to do a little story time during the circle which elaborated the zodiac animals and their ranking. They were so excited and happy knowing all those things. Then we also made our own snakes with beads, spoons and paper as well. Great activity along with learning about history.
