Tiny Hoppers
Welcome to September at Tiny Hopper’s Childcare Centre!
As the crisp fall air begins to settle in and the days start to feel a little shorter, we’re excited to share the fun, learning, and growth happening here at Tiny Hopper’s this September! Whether your child is a returning Hopper or a new friend, this month is all about embracing the season’s changes and exploring new learning adventures.

A Month Full of Learning & Play

At Tiny Hopper’s, we know that play is the foundation of learning. This September, our little ones will dive into hands-on activities that nurture their creativity, build social skills, and develop important cognitive abilities. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the exciting themes and activities we’re looking forward to:
  Autumn Adventures
With autumn just around the corner, we’ll be exploring all things fall! From collecting leaves to learning about the changing colors of trees, our children will engage in sensory activities that help them observe the changes happening in nature. We’ll also introduce fall-themed art projects, where children will get to paint pumpkins, make leaf prints, and create their own nature collages.
  Gardening and Growing
At Tiny Hopper’s, we believe in connecting children to nature, and what better way to do that than through gardening? This month, we’ll be teaching the kids about planting and caring for plants, allowing them to witness firsthand how seeds grow into beautiful flowers and vegetables. It’s a wonderful way to foster patience, responsibility, and a sense of pride.
  Creative Arts & Crafts
We’re all about letting imaginations soar! Whether it’s molding clay, finger painting, or building with blocks, the kids will have lots of opportunities to express themselves through various artistic activities. It’s not just fun—it helps with fine motor skills and boosts confidence in their own creative abilities.
 ‍♂️ Movement & Physical Activities
To keep everyone moving and energized, we’ll be incorporating daily outdoor play, obstacle courses, and even some fall-themed games. From jumping in puddles to leaf pile hopping, physical activity is a key part of our day, helping children develop their coordination and strength.

A Warm Welcome to Our New Families

This September, we’re excited to welcome new faces into the Tiny Hopper’s family! We know that transitioning to childcare can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, and we want to assure all our families that we’re here to make the experience as smooth and joyful as possible. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing a nurturing and caring environment where every child feels at home.

Parent Tip of the Month: Preparing for Fall Transitions

As the weather begins to change, it’s important to help your child adjust to the cooler temperatures and shorter days. Layering clothes is always a good strategy—think of it like “ready for anything!”—and make sure they have comfortable shoes for outdoor play. If your child has trouble adjusting to the cooler weather, talk to them about how the seasons change and what’s different about autumn. It’s a great way to spark their curiosity!

Looking Ahead: Upcoming Events

  • Fall Harvest Festival: We’ll be celebrating the fall harvest with a fun festival featuring games, face painting, and a pumpkin patch! Stay tuned for more details!
  • Storytime Thursdays: Every Thursday, our little Hoppers will gather for a cozy storytime, exploring new books and characters. Don’t forget to ask your child about their favorite stories!
We’re looking forward to a fantastic September full of new memories and exciting discoveries. Thank you for being part of the Tiny Hopper’s family. Here’s to a season full of growth, laughter, and endless fun!
See you around the center!
Warmly, The Tiny Hopper’s Childcare Team
