At Tiny Hoppers Richmond East, we believe in the importance of offering a variety of activities in our day to day program that support our children’s development through academic learning, and also opportunity to engage with their peers and community socially, emotionally, and physically. We are proud to offer weekly extracurricular classes led by community professionals, right here in our classrooms during school hours. This fall, along with our current learners, we invite new students to enrol in our Taekwondo, Piano, and STEM classes. Each class is created to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills!

Taekwondo offers a variety of physical activities, as well as an opportunity to learn focus, discipline, and respect. Through fun and engaging age appropriate movements, children build coordination, balance, and self-control, all while enjoying the excitement of Taekwondo in a safe and exciting environment.

Piano class introduces children to the beginning steps of loving and learning to play music. Learning to play an instrument at a young age enhances memory, supports emotional development, and strengthens fine motor skills. Our piano instructor builds upon previously learned techniques to create a love for music and help children express themselves creatively.

STEM class (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) inspires children to think critically, ask questions, and explore the world around them. With step by step building activities and experimenting with new concepts, children learn problem-solving techniques and begin to understand new math and science skills for future learning in a fun and engaging way.

These classes are a fantastic way to give your child an exciting new learning experience! Children can enjoy the benefits of an additional learning opportunity without extra travel or late afternoons, as the classes are held within school hours. Spaces are limited and classes fill up quickly; don’t miss this chance to give your child an opportunity to learn some new skills!
