OWNERS:
DAYCARE TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY IS OCTOBER 17TH 2023
In October, we celebrate our teachers. We will have paper leaves at the front of the hallway on the table. Please take the time to say a few kind words about the teachers that love on your children every day.
Words can go such a long way to feeling appreciated and we want to FILL OUR TREE up with all your leaves before Tuesday October 17th!
CHEF CHERYL:
We will be having our annual Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday October 4th.
We will also have special treats for Halloween!
INFANTS:
October is here! It’s officially Fall! This month we will be learning about all things that make Halloween, Halloween! Pumpkins, costumes, and more! We will also be focusing on using our fine motor skills.
SPECIAL DAYS:
- Oct 4 – Thanksgiving turkey lunch
- Oct 31 – Come dressed in your Halloween costume.
TODDLERS:
Fall is here! We can’t wait for all the fun Fall activities we have planned! We will be doing activities around Fall leaves, pumpkins, turkeys, and Halloween. All our activities will help us work on our fine motor, pincer grasp, and gross motor skills. We will also incorporate colours, 123’s, and ABC’s.
We would like to remind parents that with the colder weather coming, please ensure your child has proper clothing to wear for outdoor play.

PRESCHOOL:
It’s pumpkin season! The month will be filled with activities including pumpkins, spiders, and all things spooky.
In Preschool, we focus on independence, putting shoes on/off, dressing, cleaning up, etc. in preparation for Kindergarten.
With Winter on its way, we will encourage the children’s self-help skills, so they can be more prepared and confident to dress themselves independently in their Winter clothing when the snow arrives. May we encourage you to continue re-enforcing this independence at home.
