September is a special month at Tiny Hoppers Richmond East as it marks the time when our students come together to celebrate the inspiring legacy of Terry Fox through our annual Terry Fox Run.
Our students delved into Terry Fox’s story, learning about his journey and the challenges he faced. His bravery and selflessness captivated them, leading them to want to make a difference.
Our students began their Terry Fox-themed month with a symbolic Terry Fox Walk. Armed with homemade flags, signs, necklaces, mini posters, and banners, they created a vibrant atmosphere of unity and purpose throughout our school.
The Terry Fox Run Fundraiser was a highlight of our month. Our gratitude to wonderful parents who generously contributed food items for Terry Fox Run. We donated all the collected items to the Richmond Food Bank. Thank you for giving back to our community to support those in need!
As September draws to a close, the spirit of Terry Fox remains in our hearts, and we are excited to witness the continued impact of our students in their community. For all of our parents, thank you for your donations as they make an impact to our community.
