Since Fall is officially here, the children in our JK2 class have been non-stop talking about farm life. From animals, to buildings, and most especially PUMPKINS! So teachers took the time to redecorate the classroom and turn it into a giant pumpkin patch and farm!
Teachers used recycled boxes and scarves to create a perfect “hayride” where children took turns driving or becoming a passenger.
Real pumpkins were used to fill the pumpkin patch for the first few days. Teachers then used the pumpkins to participate in the school carving contest!
What is a farm without a barn and barnyard animals??
No farm is complete without a fresh farmer’s market! Children loved to explore their social and math skills from behind the counter.
