Remembrance Day Activities

Our toddlers took part in a meaningful Remembrance Day activity. Together, we explored the symbol of the poppy by painting coffee filters a beautiful red and later adding black dots in the centre. We also extended this experience into playdough play using red and black dough. The friends enjoyed rolling squishing and cutting their playdough and even added small sticks into their creations. Through these activities, the children were able to build on their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and colour recognition.
