While Valentine’s Day is well known as a commercial celebration or romance and love, our children learn that love means to care for self and others, to talk about feelings, and to be sympathetic. Emotions can be expressed in different forms and it is important to teach our young children how to identify their feelings and properly express them. They take care of the hungry monster by feeding it alphabet cookies, and they use their creativities to express their love toward self and others. Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day!
