At Tiny Hoppers Sherwood Park, we’re always looking for fun, enriching ways to support the healthy development of our little ones, and we’re thrilled to announce our newest partnership with PlayBall Sports!
This exciting collaboration brings a dynamic sports and movement program right into the heart of our childcare community, giving children the chance to learn through play, build confidence, and develop physical literacy skills in a fun and supportive environment.
What is PlayBall?
PlayBall is an internationally recognized sports and movement program designed specifically for young children. It focuses on developing:
-
Gross motor skills
-
Hand-eye coordination
-
Balance and agility
-
Teamwork and social skills
-
Confidence through structured play
Using a variety of age-appropriate games and activities, PlayBall coaches create a positive atmosphere where children learn not only how to throw, catch, and kick, but also how to listen, take turns, and cheer each other on.
Why It Matters
Physical activity is a vital part of early childhood development. By partnering with PlayBall, Tiny Hoppers is investing in more than just fun. We’re helping children:
-
Establish healthy habits from an early age
-
Improve focus and classroom readiness
-
Boost self-esteem and independence
-
Discover the joy of movement
What Parents Can Expect
Each month, certified PlayBall coaches will visit Tiny Hoppers to lead interactive sessions that fit perfectly into our regular programming. Children will engage in skill-building games tailored to their developmental stage, and most importantly, they’ll have a blast.
