The topic these days is our body! A child was sitting down and looking at his arm. Teacher asked what happened and he responded,” my bones are glued to my skin”. That sparked an idea about teaching them the layers of our skin. The book we read about our body also had a chapter about layers of the body. From that we learnt how many layers are there and about the veins in the body too, what is their function.
They were very happy as they were showing each other the veins in their arms.
We did a small activity where there were paper showing layers of body( skin ,muscle, bones) we used q-tips as bones. Also we added small buttons to give our bodies eyes.
