Earth Day

Earth Day is a great way to teach and start new routines in the classroom. The teachers set out fun ways for the children to learn about garbage, recycling and compost. Using stories and songs the children learned the colours and symbols for each box and what went into each one. They learned about how to help the earth and the animals expanding the learning to the whole classroom. The children loved to help and the activities opened up so many new questions and wounders.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             .
