We have lots of children in Pre 1 who are interested in cooking and often make meals for one another at our play kitchen. Today, the children were encouraged to serve each other pasta at our sensory tray. Working together at the tray to scoop, pour, and measure the noodles support their emerging social and cognitive skills.
