We were so excited to welcome Michelle for our very first “Music with Michelle” session! All of our classes had a wonderful time singing, moving, and making music together. 💕🎵

Michelle introduced the children to her ukulele, giving them the opportunity to see and listen to a new musical instrument. The children were encouraged to explore music through singing, rhythm, movement, and shakers. With shakers in their hands, the children joined in with the songs, followed the beat, and had fun expressing themselves through music. 🪇🎶

Through music, the children developed their communication and language skills as they listened to songs, learned new words, and participated in singing. They practiced physical development and coordination by shaking their instruments, moving their bodies, and keeping rhythm with the music.

Music also encouraged social-emotional development as the children participated together, took turns, followed group cues, and shared a joyful experience with their peers and educators. Most importantly, the session provided an opportunity for the children to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and develop a sense of belonging within their classroom community.

It was wonderful to see all of the children engaged, smiling, and excited to participate. We are looking forward to continuing our musical journey with Music with Michelle! 🎶💗
