Please take a look at our March newsletter: March School Newsletter (1).pdf
This March, our classroom was filled with giggles, excitement, and a little bit of mischief as we embarked on The Great Leprechaun Hunt! With tiny green footprints, shiny gold coins, and clever clues hidden throughout the room, the children became eager detectives on a mission to catch the elusive leprechaun.
Each clue led us closer to his pot of gold, sparking critical thinking and teamwork as the kids searched high and low. Behind books, under tables, and even inside tiny shoes—no hiding spot went unchecked! The joy and energy were contagious as the children followed the trail, giggling at the leprechaun’s silly tricks along the way.
While our class was deep in their magical mystery, other classrooms explored St. Patrick’s Day through vibrant art projects and engaging sensory play. Green glitter, shamrocks, and rainbow-colored rice filled the room with color and texture, giving children the chance to express themselves creatively and explore the holiday in hands-on, meaningful ways.
From painting rainbows to squishing shamrock-scented playdough, every corner of the school was bursting with Irish-inspired fun. These activities not only celebrated the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day but also encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and fine motor development.
This festive month reminded us that learning can be joyful, messy, and full of wonder. Whether chasing leprechauns or creating art, the magic of March was all around us!
