Future Engineers!
Over the past few weeks our toddlers have been enjoying STEM themed activities. As the children have been interested in the robots and space, they have been developing core skills across the social, cognitive, physical, language, and emotional developmental domains. Here are a few of the activities they participated in!
- The toddlers built a life size robot and strengthened their fine motor skills by placing pompoms on the robot’s stomach.
- Individually, the children decorated small robots with stickers.
- Using aluminum foil to make moon rocks, the children painted on moon cutouts.
- The children used their fine motor and cognitive skills to search and rescue their toys in this space rubble!
- The toddlers enjoyed making rocks with this moon sand sensory play.
