Summer fun!

July 27, 2023

One of the preschool groups has been very interested in bugs lately, so they brought the bugs into the classroom! The children learned about different types of bugs, where they live, what they eat, and which bugs are our friends. The children worked together to make ant hills. They used glue and sand to make the hill. Then, glued ants onto the hill and cut out pictures of food they learned ants like to eat.

The stormy weather didn’t ruin their fun in our other preschool classroom! The children used large pillows, steppingstones, a bench, and a tunnel to design an obstacle course. They then took turns participating in the indoor gross motor play.

Our toddlers enjoyed sensory play outside in the warm weather. They enjoyed building their sensory, fine motor, cause and effect, spatial exploration, and social skills as they played with the water table. The toddlers were splashing, scooping and pouring water, and discovering how ice becomes water.

Happy Easter to our beloved Family and Friends!Happy Halloween!
