Pink Shirt Day is celebrated on the last Wednesday of February each year. People across Canada wear pink shirts to signify the stance against bullying. At Tiny Hoppers Kanata North, al of our children celebrated with us as we took our stance against bullying. Our center was a sea of pink, visually! Our loving educators enhanced the learning experience that can come with this day, by setting up activities focused on the child’s interest, in relation to kindness, ad being a good friend. Our littles explored fine motor activities as well as sensory activities. All of these activities relate to how does learning happen, and fosters a great sense of belonging and inclusion.
Take a look at what our day of kindness looked like here this week!
